I have a passion for educating my clients with my 20-plus years of experience as a Registered Dietitian. As an avid runner, my inspiration in pursuing this field is driven by my interest in learning how food affects the body’s performance.
My philosophy on nutrition revolves around the concept that food and eating should be an enjoyable experience. I focus on the restoration of excellent metabolic function by helping my clients break free from restrictive diets and achieve balanced hormonal health, vibrant energy, and natural weight management.
I came to Mona after doing every diet out there. not being able to solve my gut issues, my inflammation, my pain. Mona help me more than trying to figure out what foods are the best for my body but really she help me work on my mindset around dieting and restricting calories and really feeding my body so I could feel my best. I never knew what that was. Working with Mona I was also able to lose some extra weight that I always regained. I have been maintaining my weight for over two years now and it’s become a lifestyle for me. I met Mona June of 2020. She was recommended by my doctor because I had gained some weight and was on blood pressure meds. I was not sure what to expect because I thought I had a pretty healthy diet. Over time, I learned better portion control, how to swap certain foods for healthier options, and how to incorporate exercise and weight training. Mona also taught me the importance of eating enough calories and healthy fats. Even though those thing sounded counterintuitive to me, they really helped keep me full and promote weight loss.
